Thursday, November 12, 2009. Seth came home from work this week and said that his co-worker had been in an accident and that when she was going through some tests they found a fungi growing on her brain! She has been in the hospital for a week and will probably be there for awhile longer. She was 5 days away from having health insurance! Isn't that just lucky! I am having a lot of fun with this! Luke was one of only 18 children from his elementary school who had their artwork chosen to represent the school in an art show at a local art gallery. The artwork is celebrating Black History Month. The St. Louis Zoo is not only great, but it is also FREE! There was a display at the zoo with sharks and stingrays, and he loved it. Here's a picture of his touching the stingray. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. I have been taking some cake decorating classes this past month and will be continuing on through out the month of January as well!
