The Art of Nikita Taranduke. Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Its been a really busy couple of months. I'm now back in California. Boulder has been my home for the past several months. I got side tracked on art for a while because I started to train for climbing and was really into that. But I did manage to do a bunch of art pieces on the side. Mainly gifts. These were just some sketches that I drew up for a friend who wanted some drawings to accompany his poem for his creative writing class. It was fun to work on. The one with the kid reminds me of my friend Tim Tang's drawings. He is an amazing illustrator, you should checkout his work. I to the Z. Monday, August 20, 2012. Took one of my mechanics a bit further. I kind of like how she turned out. These are moment thumbs I did of a scenario involving an assassin or bounty hunter that goes out to perform a hit on a junk dealer at his junk yard. Motivations remain. ominous. I to the Z. Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Over the winter break we had to adapt a greek Myth and make it into a modern story. I took the tale of Bellerophon. In my rendition, Bellerophon is an inner city youth that gets caught with weed by his parents, so they send him off to get a job.
