http://chris-manion.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 25, 2010. Pushing through awkwardness and self doubt. http://cookinwithchris.blogspot.com/2012/06/canned-testimony.html
Culinary Dreams, Schemes and Themes. Monday, June 11, 2012. An excellent Italian cook sent me a recipe recently for a Marinated Vegetable Medley. I love recipes and enjoy reading them to see what creative twist of ingredients it contains. Salivating is a good sign the recipe may be worth trying. One taste, and I called the recipe sender immediately. It was incredible! 1 16 oz. can early garden peas. 1 12 oz. can shoepeg corn. 2 1 lb. cans French green beans. 1 large onion, chopped. 189; cup vegetable oil.

Writing Matters: One Man's Butt is Another's Burr
http://chris-manion.blogspot.com/2015/06/intersection-reflection-bites-butt.html
Friday, June 5, 2015. One Man's Butt is Another's Burr. The license plate on the truck read Alabama. It could have been any state really. We were stopped at a light on Highway 98. It was a beautiful day. Summer puff clouds were building, as they do, into mountainous mounds. The sea air blew gently through open car windows. An American flag saluted palm trees as sea gulls flew overhead. Then it happened. Another car slowed to a stop. The butt was now crushed and flattened. It would wash into sewer...It wa...

Writing Matters: June 2012
http://chris-manion.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 17, 2012. As we approach the next Presidential election, I am pleased that I've cancelled my landline. I know I won't miss the political commercials and surveys. I wish I could say the same for what the media will present to us. What can we do to make the pre-election period palatable? Wouldn't the people be most grateful for the candidate who raised the most money then? Wouldn't both candidates end up being winners in one way or another? What if we forced our enemies to say one nice thing a...

Writing Matters: Habit Myth #3: All Strategies Work for Everyone
http://chris-manion.blogspot.com/2015/07/habit-myth-3-all-strategies-work-for.html
Saturday, July 4, 2015. Habit Myth #3: All Strategies Work for Everyone. I learned in my direct sales career that everybody didn't like the same rewards or recognition that I liked.
