Allen took her last week because I had a doctors appointment so this was my first time and it was so wonderful to watch her through the window. Oh how she LOVES to dance. Elsie offered to cut Alice's bangs yesterday and she consented. I thought she wanted to grow them out but I guess she changed her mind. Friday, April 27, 2012. Alice wants to do everything her sister does so she is taking her turn to play the violin. Thursday, March 6, 2014. The X-rays looked great at the doctors office today. Everything is healing very well. The pins came out and Elsie was able to choose her 3rd, and hopefully her last, cast (light blue). As soon as she feels comfortable she can start walking in her "walking cast". Elsie was surprised to see what the pins looked like. She had imagined them looking like bobby "pins". "You know, like the ones you put in your hair.". Adjusting to life as a family of four! Saturday, June 15, 2013. This past year, I had the unique opportunity to be a part of a preschool co-op. The class consisted of 10 kids, 6 moms, and 4 "babies" (who were definitely not babies by the end of the year! We ended the year with a Field Day. One of the moms had plastic sheeting, so we staked it down, put dish soap on it, and a sprinkler. The kids had a blast! All of us moms were in heaven watching our kids having so much fun!
