Thursday, August 14, 2014. After hearing from so many people that this baby was sure to come early, I was surprised to find myself once again at my due date! August 5 came and went, with no signs that Nicholas was ready to make his big arrival. On August 4.I look more than ready! So we went to Home Goods for some new pillows for all the guests we would be having soon, just to get out of the house. I came home and began timing what I was feeling. They quickly moved from 10 minutes apart, to 8 minutes ...

Monday, February 24, 2014. 15 Months - Fun in the Kitchen. We are almost at 16 months and I have yet to post about Alex at 15 months. Shame on me. In my defense it has been a busy, busy, snowy month! At his 15 month checkup, Alex had dropped down to the 25th percentile. He weighs 22 pounds 12 ounces and is 30 inches long. He still looks big to everyone (is it all the hair? Playing in the kitchen cupboards! Still hates to have his bottom cleaned. He really clenches those cheeks together, haha. :). Peek-a-...

Sunday, March 15, 2015. Sledding at Huntington Park. It rained all day yesterday and was pretty cold and gloomy today, but last weekend was BEAUTIFUL! On Saturday we took the boys to Huntington Park and Alex got to try out sledding for the first time. He has used his wooden sled in the backyard, but this was his first experience at downhill. He tried it, then refused to go again for a while, but did get back on the sled once more before we left. It's awfully bright and cold, mom! Dashing through the snow!

Tuesday, May 20, 2014. 18 Months - Climbing Like a Monkey. Little man is getting so big! Here is what he has been up to lately:. He's now a 5 1/2, so we got him a new pair of sneakers in a size 6. They're adorable and perfect for running around this summer. Makes me feel better about my less than stellar singing voice. :) And did I mention climbing? He is suddenly much more tolerant of having his bottom wiped, so hooray for that! He can stay up pretty late if we let him! Loves bouncing on Dad's stomach!
