JAZBAND: April 2010
http://jazband.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 19, 2010. Family History trip to Bluff Utah. The Decker House Inn in Bluff, Utah is a very nice Bed and Breakfast today. My grandfather, Joseph Earl Wood was born in Bluff. His mother, Lillian Decker Wood, pioneered with the Hole-In-The-Rock Expedition when she was four years old. This is the home her parents built, Anna Maria and James Decker, Sr. Sarah was four months old back then. The mother of the owners of the B and B helped in the breakfast room. The scenery is hard to top. William, ...

Gratitude: Z Sisterz Update
http://pearlsandpeonies.blogspot.com/2011/10/z-sisterz-update.html
Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Took Tuesday off and had a great day hanging out at home. Pulled out every single item of Ken's clothes, had him try on each one, sorted into keep, mend, or pack away. It was a really fun project! He's lost weight so he has a grand total of 4 dress shirts. And only 1 pair of jeans. That fit right now. I have a list of the needs in each category of the wardrobe and now need to go fill them! Client meeting on Thursday. Finish off the tombstones and table top displays. The cof...

Gratitude: April 2011

Wednesday, April 20, 2011. I was reading through Good Housekeeping (random) while getting my hair done today when I read this quote about keeping memorabilia:. IF EVERYTHING IS PRECIOUS, THEN NOTHING IS PRECIOUS. That just makes so much sense to me! And seems like something great to keep in mind while sorting through old boxes of ticket stubs and rose petals. Monday, April 4, 2011. Scissor Sisters - Say that 5 times fast. Did you see last week's update. Ok here's the sister update of the week! By Tuesday...

The Earnest Review: The Birthdays.
http://earnestreview.blogspot.com/2013/03/the-birthdays.html
Thursday, March 07, 2013. We have missed posting about every single birthday this year (and last year too, I think). Here goes a look at all the birthdays, since we have just closed out the birthday season with Darin's birthday on February 21. We'll start with the most recent and work our way backwards. Darin turned 37 in 2012. Here was his traditional cake shot:. One year later, a few more grey hairs, fewer hours of sleep, and two kids later, we celebrated his 38th birthday:. A table full of love! I get...

Saturday, June 26, 2010. Saturday, June 12, 2010. One of the best things about living in Utah is being able to spend special days with family. Annee and the kids came to the BYU Dinosaur Museum with me. A Good Time was had by all. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). By the cedars of Lebanon. Ana and Zack Blog. William at age 3. I just spent...

Sunday, April 1, 2012. That was fun to have mom post last week from Morocco. Read it here. We're excited to welcome them back here to Provo on Friday - after 6 long weeks abroad. Just in time for Easter. Now on to the update. in order of delivery. Note that the instruction for this week was casual conference-weekend pictures, so don't expect any great fashion statements this week.) (Because I know usually you do.). Darin came home from Oregon! It was only a week, but it felt so long! Went to the Durham P...

The Earnest Review: February 2012
http://earnestreview.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 25, 2012. Life as we know it. A few things in my life feel like they became irrelevant on Wednesday. Here is a small list, in no particular order:. 1 My subscription to Runner's World. 2 My seven passenger mini van. 4 My leisure time. 5 Feeling like I am in control of my life. I think those are the main ones that come to mind. A few others float into my mind, then float back out almost as fast. The ability to focus is temporarily missing too. Why does it look like there are two? She to...

The Earnest Review: Progress report.
http://earnestreview.blogspot.com/2012/10/progress-report.html
Sunday, October 14, 2012. Hi Just checking in. We still have six kids. I'm still super tired. Some things will be the same at every progress report. I think I just named the top two. A few days before my birthday the babies achieved their 4 week old milestone! Eleanor was having a hard time cooperating. After a stern talking to, she was able to be a bit more friendly. Walter was in an unusually pleasant mood. Maybe this picture illustrates that point better? Keeps life in perspective. And just like that,...
