Yonge and Dundas ready to scramble - Spacing Toronto
http://spacing.ca/wire/2008/07/23/3392
Yonge and Dundas ready to scramble. July 23, 2008. Click on photo for larger version. Photo by Sam Javanrouh. If you’ve been to Yonge and Dundas in the last few days you may have noticed that a new set of street light signals have been installed that face out into the middle of the intersection. Once the hoods are lifted in late August, these signals will be directing pedestrians across Toronto’s first “scramble” intersection. We posted about the approval of this type of intersection back in October.

Go download the Nocturne app. Install the app by dragging it into the Applications folder on your Mac. Start the app and open up the preferences by pressing Cmd , (comma). Why not use a different theming app?

An attempt at an official blog. Congrats to the team of archaeologists for the new find! If this indeed belongs to the Antikythera mechanism then the mystery gets even more exciting as bulls bared great significance for the Minoan civilization. Let’s see how this goes!
