My journey in Osteopathy began when I was 22 years old. At the time I was working as a Personal Trainer, becoming fascinated with gym-goers injuries. I realised quickly that I wanted to be involved in physical therapy. After a shoulder injury which had been holding me back I visited an Osteopath on recommendation from a work colleague. It was an inspiring experience and I decided there and then to start studying.

What happens on my first appointment? Your first appointment will last around 50-60 minutes. Some admin first, then a medical history. After that, examination of your problem and treatment. Followed up by self help advice and exercise prescription if appropriate. What does the examination and treatment consist of? What should I wear for the appointment? Please bring some shorts and a vest top/ t-shirt for your appointment as I'll need to move you around freely to examine your injury.
