Chrissy Weeks, Sewn Stuff: Easter Dress!
http://chrissyweeks.blogspot.com/2015/03/easter-dress.html
Chrissy Weeks, Sewn Stuff. Friday, March 27, 2015. Fabrics for M's Easter Dress. I admit I do not celebrate the Christian aspects of Easter. However the part I do like and celebrate are; the renewal of the earth, new Easter clothes and fun goodies in a basket brought by a bunny. Seriously what is there not to love. I found a dress idea on good old Pinteret. It is called the Knot Dress. And has a girls dress and doll dress pattern available for free download. The bodice is wide. But I have to take eve...

Chrissy Weeks, Sewn Stuff: The Nostalgia and Hope of Buttons
http://chrissyweeks.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-nostalgia-and-hope-of-buttons.html
Chrissy Weeks, Sewn Stuff. Friday, May 8, 2015. The Nostalgia and Hope of Buttons. I was working on finishing up some of the projects I started at "The Stash Bash" and just got to a point where I needed a break. And I needed to pick out and plan some buttons to complete a project. New buttons I got at The Stash Bash! Finding some buttons turned into going down the rabbit hole of sorting all my buttons and then writing this post about it. My giant bag of "white" buttons. Vintage cover button kits. However...

Now Sewing: November 2014
http://nowsewing.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 20, 2014. This one took a long time. It started with some fabrics in lovely fall colors that I stacked and whacked and stitched back together. I particularly like the gray shirting piece and the rough off-white hand-spun looking pieces with the commercially printed pieces. About 35 inches square. Next was the insertion of a black and white piece. Just a touch of black and white to ground it. And all the pieces were sewn together. Monday, November 10, 2014. Looking inward and outward.

Chrissy Weeks, Sewn Stuff. Monday, March 14, 2011. I have to admit I have fallen sadly behind on my participation in Me Made March. Something had to give and that is what fell off the radar. Ce La Vie! Life gets in the way sometimes and we just have to make the best of it that we can. I have all sorts of commitments that I am working on but I decided that today I needed to squeeze in working on a project for ME! Here is what the skirt looks like BEFORE I add the crinoline slip that I make to go with it!

Chrissy Weeks, Sewn Stuff. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. S, on Craftsy. We are getting ready to spend the summer abroad. So this summer we need clothes that are easy to pack and wash and that go well together. I have been making some new things for all of us. But as usual the most fun to make are the clothes for the kiddo. I found this super cute Racerback Tank Dress. From Hey June, on Craftsy. And it is FREE! There are 3 pieces to cut, front, back and the back yoke. There is also a great tutorial. My favorite ...
