What I Blog About. Wanna Help Me With Some Book Research? August 31, 2015. It’s inevitable in a writer’s career. At one point in time or another, we will have to learn about some subject that we are not familiar with, whether it be neuro-surgery or training a duck to quack “I love you”. I’ve given my two cents on research for writing before. This is where you guys come in. Do you have any experience with friends, relatives, teachers, etc. who are blind? Okay, here’s your challenge. Tell me anyt...Today i...

You see, I had a funny conversation a couple of weeks ago with my good friend (and often business partner) Ben Stroup. About the struggle between learning new systems/software/apps before moving on to the next latest and greatest. Well, guess what? Ramblings of a Writer. My ramblings on faith, writing, and life. Saturday, August 8, 2015. Light in the Dark: Part One. The first part of my new story, Light in the Dark, is here! This part tells about Alessandra's past. You will do as I say," growled the red eyed man as he pulled his arrow back, tightening his bow string. His black tipped arrow was pointed directly at Rose, who stood trembling in the corner of the dark room. No, I won't! Must I repeat myself? So be it," he spat, and he let the arrow fly.

Ramblings of a Writer. My ramblings on faith, writing, and life. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. You Cant Trifle With This! Today, Mom and I made an Oreo brownie trifle for Bible Study. It tastes as good as it sounds! The fudge brownies, which were not Pioneer Woman's recipe, but still really good, were so yummy! You can't mess with a brownie! We made too many, so we stuck some of them in freezer for later. I'm hoping that for later comes sooner. Mom made the homemade (no cool whip in this house! I do remembe...

Ramblings of a Writer. My ramblings on faith, writing, and life. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. A Little Bit of Randomness. Today was our first day of school! So far, eighth grade isn't that bad. In fact, I'm really enjoying it, especially writing. I absolutely love writing. Ever since I was little, I've been making up stories and coming up with poems. My assignment this week is to write a descriptive paragraph about a mall before Christmas. I can't wait to start working! 😊) of what's coming up! I'm just an o...

Ramblings of a Writer. My ramblings on faith, writing, and life. Monday, August 10, 2015. Today, we went to the local zoo, Pari Daiza. It's been voted the best zoo in Belgium and the Netherlands. It's cool because we have season passes here, and the animals are so fun! We saw a bunch of different South American birds like blue macaws. This little guy was right on the cage posing for pictures! Poor Maya is so scared of birds! These flamingos were showing off how they could stand on one foot. August 10, 20...

Sunday, May 20, 2012. In Which I Talk About NYC. Above) The front door of the Society of Illustrators, as you may have deduced from the words above said door. So, I went to New York last week for the 2012 Society of Illustrators student competition show. It was amazing! I loved every second of it, even though I accidentally said and did some awkward things because I was super nervous. But overall I think it went well! We went to a cool place called High Line. Above) Hannah is having fun at the High Line.
