Monday, April 4, 2016. I recently had the opportunity to model for Christa Louise Scarves. A conscious fashion company that sources beautiful, handmade scarves from women in Mexico. Not only are these scarves crafted without the use of chemicals and factory malpractices, but the sale of them serves to uphold the nuno art form in Mexico. All scarves are made from Merino wool and silk and provide employment (and empowerment! For the women in Mexico who weave them. Shopping here is definitely guilt-free.

The beauty of nuno felting is its weightlessness. Because we apply a light layering of wool, the result is airy and immanently wearable, while still retaining significant warmth.
