Saturday, April 08, 2006. Just a meandering dialogue on how to get out of the house and make a little cash. The local flea market (who consider themselves up scale) charge $112 per space plus a 5% commission on sales. Daycare for Rowen part time for a week is $120. Besides inventory, outgoing expenses would be $146. Income would have to be at $146 to keep things afloat. It's a baby step, but it's also a process. Any comments would be appreciated. Wednesday, March 08, 2006. Typing starts at eight, not eighteen. Eilish found this site to practice her typing. I didn't learn to type until high school, she's required to learn in third grade! Being the queen of nosy-ness, I found that my house is not necessarily the cheapest on the block and my neighbors got rooked on theirs! Posted by Christa Ballew-Matthews @ 7:26 PM.

Wednesday, May 10, 2006. Got Mothers Day Flowers! Hello again. I got some mothers day flowers this afternoon sent from my mom and dad. How does that work? Rowen and I have been running around all day. He dressed up like Batman, mask and all, and got lots of attention at the grocery store and the mall. Tonight we take Eilish to gymnastics. She's been accepted into the other place in town and will be going there starting in June. Cheers and Good Health,. Posted by Christa Ballew-Matthews @ 12:56 PM.

Wednesday, May 17, 2006. Cook Books and Da Vinci Code. Marty was home again with me today, but I felt good today, so we ran around and returned items, went grocery shopping, bought birthday presents, did yard work, and continued on with other errands. Eilish has gymnastics tonight and the Elora and Rowen have a party in Centralia to go to. This is it for the day. Cheers and Good Health,. Posted by Christa Ballew-Matthews @ 12:41 PM. Tuesday, May 16, 2006. Is there such thing as writers block, or is it just another form of procrastination. I'm sure in my case it's procrastination. I've about finished DaVinci Code. If anyone wants to borrow it, I can send it book rate. Well, the kids are restless, so I'm signing off now. Cheers and Good Health. Posted by Christa Ballew-Matthews @ 7:38 PM. Sunday, May 14, 2006. Hey sports fans. We made it through a cold and cloudy day with lots of food and sleep. The plan was to go out to eat for Mother's Day, but MU graduation was yesterday and all of the restaurants were full by 9:30, on a Sunday! Marty had the day off so we shopped, watched movies, and, like I said, slept. I recommend Tristan and Isolde if you feel you have two hours to spend on a teary love story. Blah. I much preferred Red Eye, where the heroine kicks butt. Rowen slept later that afte...

I think if you can find something else from Laurie Halse Anderson. And/or Lori Earley she could get into it, even with her busy schedule. I also need sc...

Friday, April 14, 2006. Booth at the Market Place. I spoke to the owner of the Market Place and told him what I had in mind selling pre-made frames. He was really nice and in fact, he wants someone to open a frame shop in his store, more than a booth, a shop within the building. Other shops like this include a landscaper, and a pool table and spa providers. They also have a tea room for private parties. Posted by Christa Ballew-Matthews @ 10:13 PM. View my complete profile.
