Monday, February 2, 2009. Last week at scouts, Derek got his arrow of light award. That is the highest award to achieve before you move up to the older boy scout group. We worked hard on that, setting goals, building things, going on hikes, tying knots etc. Its a cool little ceremony that they do, they hire an arrow of light guy and he dresses the part. It was fun! Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Favorite MIA past time. I took the kids to freestone park to go ice blocking tonight, and they loved it! I'm still trying to figure out the settings in my new camera so sum are blurry). Ahh, I remember ice blocking. Do they allow it there now or do they just ignore the fact that people still use the hills? I remember when they wouldn't allow us but we still did. Looks like they had a lot of fun though. Sunday, June 14, 2009. Yesterday we had a family bbq at my uncles house, it was so much fun! Its so good to have Traci, Mike and kids in town for a little bit. We've missed them! At the end of the night I got to take all the girls home for a sleepover and Jaime took all the boys home for a sleepover at her house. We really had a good time. Cant wait to do it again! Tuesday, October 19, 2010. While in Lake Powell Logan was up on a hill looking for lizards and dropped a rock on his toe. His received a presser wound, which means that the rock caused so much pressure in his toe it basically popped. We had to take him to the ER and they removed his toe-nail (it was barely hanging on), stitch the toe back together. Then they stitched the toe-nail back on to use as a natural band-aid.
