Follow my Dad and I as we travel to Zimbabwe, Africa. Friday, October 14, 2011. Vic - Journal Entry #7. Tuesday, October 11, 2012. At 5:00 AM we left on a bus to go to the Hwange. Game Reserve which is located three hours outside of Bulawayo. The drive was pleasant as it was nice to get out of the city and into the country. The road conditions are very poor here so it takes a long time to get to any place in Zimbabwe. There are only two lanes for the main highways. We arrived at the park by 9:30 AM.
