Proverbs 19:15,24 ; 21:25 ; 23:21 ; Ecc 10:17-18 ; Philippians 3:19; Isaiah 22:13). Laziness brings on deep sleep; an idle person will suffer hunger. The lazy person buries a hand in the dish, and will not even bring it back to the mouth. The craving of the lazy person is fatal, for lazy hands refuse to labor. Sloth is, simply put, laziness.
