Not too many people read my posts here too often due to most of them having facebook and seeing my notes there but I thought I'd write something for both sites. So with that I'll sin off for now. I moved all my components over from the P2K frame to the P3 frame and did another round of Chung testing. I'm not surprised at the results - the frames are identical except for the seat tube and seat stay shapes. Any changes from here on out will be with body position. Posted by Robert Jordan. I'm brainstorming myself a new training method. It'll basically be Friel Lite. It'll keep a three-hard, one-easy weekly periodization cycle, and will have three yearly macrocycles:. And three training levels:. This is gonna be fun - I get to make up names for stuff. I'll keep you posted. Posted by Robert Jordan.

The Other Woman: October 2009
http://cyclingistheotherwoman.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 17, 2009. As a guy that likes data and likes analysis and likes to think that I have some control over outcomes on the bike and likes to think that training specifically for events can provide success in those events. I didnt really like the "well I had bad legs" excuse. All this brought me back around to racing. is there a possiblity that racing requires those high force, low cadence efforts and I have never noticed it? Monday, October 12, 2009. Winter Training. Where to go. This time ...

The Other Woman: July 2010
http://cyclingistheotherwoman.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Questions of the past year. Is the sport overindulgent? Is this lifestyle overindulgent? How long will it take for a guy coming on hard luck and driving a big truck to decide that my silly arse on a $3000 bike needs to be run over? Or maybe he is just texting. How many kids can you have and how old can they get before I realize that it isn't all about me or "me and my wife" anymore? How much will these questions take from my quads and add to my midsection? Confessions of a Geek. 2 Legit 2 Quit. Security Bank Cycling Team. Chad's spot for various thoughts, musings, poetry, ideas and whatnot. Friday, December 18, 2009. So, we finally got a GPS; something I have sort of avoided for a while. For those who know my wife and I, this may seem a bit odd but to be honest, I was the one dragging my feet. We've seen friends' GPS systems and have appreciated and admired them for some time but I just never quite wanted one myself. Let me see if I can explain.

The Georgia Homeless Bike Racer Association: Websites
http://ghbra.blogspot.com/2010/03/websites.html
The Georgia Homeless Bike Racer Association. Wednesday, March 10, 2010. So the team went down to Rouge Roubiax last weekend. It was about as expected, dirt, sketchy, fast, dissapointing. Here is me, probably getting dropped. That dirt was really loose and sketchy, not my kind of thing, I am top heavy. This weekend I will have another shot at faux-roubaix glory in Perry, Georgia, before flying out to San Dimas. Yeah, that place is gonna be awesome. He has had some big news, so check it out. 2 Legit 2 Quit.

The Georgia Homeless Bike Racer Association: March 2010
http://ghbra.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The Georgia Homeless Bike Racer Association. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. So after being humbled in spectacular fashion at San Dimas, I found myself with an unexpected day off. Of course I had to go find the top of Glendora Mountain Road, and almost 2 hours later, I decided it was worthy of a picture, or in this case, 5. The view is that big. Georgia Homeless Bike Racer Association. Wednesday, March 17, 2010. I guess I have to race at some point, but exploring new roads is also tempting. Which is still growi...

The Georgia Homeless Bike Racer Association: November 2009
http://ghbra.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
The Georgia Homeless Bike Racer Association. Monday, November 30, 2009. Just in case you were wondering, here at the Georgia Homeless Bike Racer Association, we are strong advocates of helmet use while cycling. To go one step further, we are starting a running weekly (or bi-weekly, or just whenever we take the pictures) series of other activities that we recommend wearing helmets for. First up is Fooseball. When you play like we do (badly and angrily) stray flying balls and fists are a common. So today I...
