My amaryllis bloomed in the summer this year since I had replanted it late last fall. I bought it the first Christmas we were here and the bulb is as big as my fist and has produced several other bulbs since then. This time the stock had 6 blooms on it! That meant Stephen had the kids by himself both times for the better part of a day. While I was having the second surgery, Stephen took the kids to a indoor play park.
