Christiansen's in NZ: Happy Valentine's Day!
http://christiansensinnz.blogspot.com/2009/02/happy-valentines-day.html
An account of our year spent living in New Zealand. Monday, February 16, 2009. Cory and I joined a local kayaking club, and this weekend was our requisite introductory course. Because it fell on Valentine’s Day, we called it our gift to each other…really, how much more romantic can you get than a near-death experience? Seriously, I haven’t even got the kayak into the water yet, and I’ve capsized. Unbelievable. Our trip involved crossing the main boating channel, cruising along Matakana Island, and stoppi...
Christiansen's in NZ: Goodbye, continued
http://christiansensinnz.blogspot.com/2009/06/goodbye-continued.html
An account of our year spent living in New Zealand. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. A few more farewells to report upon. The weekend offered even more excitement. We went to a friends' house on Saturday night to watch the All-Blacks rugby match versus France. It was an intense game, with the All Blacks coming up with the victory. Said a few goodbyes there, then headed home to gear up for Sunday. Cory and Erin Christiansen. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Erin with Mount Erin in the distance. May 11th, 2009.
Christiansen's in NZ: South Island Trip: Unabridged Version
http://christiansensinnz.blogspot.com/2009/01/south-island-trip-unabridged-version.html
An account of our year spent living in New Zealand. Friday, January 30, 2009. South Island Trip: Unabridged Version. Warning: This blog post is extreme in length, and may cause the reader to become drowsy and/or attached to the seating beneath them.). We recently got back from our 10-day trip to New Zealand’s South Island. Cory and I have been wanting to go, and my parents had some of the South Island sights on their “must-see” list, so their trip was the perfect impetus. It was neat, though… We to...

Christiansen's in NZ: Happy Easter!
http://christiansensinnz.blogspot.com/2009/04/happy-easter.html
An account of our year spent living in New Zealand. Tuesday, April 14, 2009. Easter Friday and Easter Monday are holidays here, and while Cory was on call on Friday, he did have Monday off. So we thought we’d better squeeze in a trip down to the Tongariro Mountain Range. We’d been hoping to do the Tongariro Crossing, which winds between Mt. Tongariro and Mt. Ngauruhoe, two dormant volcanoes. The remainder of the walk slowly led you back down through the alpine tundra to the tree line. It was pleasant...

Leichtman: September 2008
http://leichtmankids.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 9, 2008. The Diamond Castle Party. Adelyn had a few of her friends over to watch the new Barbie movie. They all "dressed up" for the occasion! The big hit of the night was the fingernail polish and lip gloss everyone got to bring home. and the cupcakes! Move it, Dig it, Do it. First day of school. The first day of school was a success! Adelyn did great and had a lot of fun! Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Cohen had fun too! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Alex's first ice skating class.
Leichtman: April 2009
http://leichtmankids.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 26, 2009. Cohen now prefers to do everything by himself especially eating and he tends to get very messy! His new favorite words are "don't" and "no"! I'm surprised he hasn't started saying "mine" yet. He has learned to push Adelyn's buttons and has gotten to be quite the expert at it. How do they learn that stuff? He is quite the character! Off to the Park. Finally we had a few nice days! We took a walk down to the park which actually took longer than the time we spent at the park!

Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Tonsils and adnoids x 2! Just to update since I haven't posted anything since July. Adelyn started back to preschool in September. She has school 3 mornings /week. She still doesn't enjoy getting dropped off but always has fun. especially days she gets to be a helper or the line leader! Cohen had his 2nd birthday Oct. 1st. He is busy! Good grief Michelle, I thought you had gone missing:) I am glad to hear you are in your new home! I would love to catch up! They are just darling!
Leichtman: The Fair
http://leichtmankids.blogspot.com/2009/07/fair.html
Thursday, July 30, 2009. The Johnson County fair was this week. The kids had fun looking at all of the farm animals. Adelyn's favorites were the bunnies and the horses and Cohen liked the cows and of course the tractors. Adelyn wants a pony and thinks the perfect place to keep it would be in our backyard- where else! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A little of everything. Pictures off the iphone! Alex's first ice skating class. Thank you so much! Last Typped entry of our trip! View my complete profile.
Leichtman: March 2010
http://leichtmankids.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 10, 2010. We have had a long winter and are ready for Spring! Adelyn kept herself busy this winter by giving herself a haircut (pict. 1). The picture doesn't do her cut justice. we ended up getting about 5 inches cut off. She also learned how to tie her shoes and put her hair in ponytails. We have seen some really interesting hair do's lately! He is a busy boy! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A little of everything. Pictures off the iphone! Alex's first ice skating class. Thank you so much!
Leichtman: February 2009
http://leichtmankids.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 23, 2009. Nothing beats a messy donut on a Saturday morning. Cohen obviously was enjoying it! He has become quite the character lately. He loves to antagonize Adelyn and is testing limits big time. He's still a sweet little guy most of the time :)! Wednesday, February 18, 2009. It was "picture day" at gymnastics! Adelyn is loving it and Cohen even got in on some of the fun. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A little of everything. Pictures off the iphone! Alex's first ice skating class.
Leichtman: Adelyn's 5th Birthday
http://leichtmankids.blogspot.com/2009/12/adelyns-5th-birthday.html
Thursday, December 17, 2009. Turned 5 on December 5 th. She started her birthday weekend off by being the birthday girl at school- which is a huge deal! She was still not feeling the best (post op day 7 from her surgery) but she wanted to go. She got to bring some special things from home to share with the class and was the snack helper and line leader- that made her day! She got at our hotel room. I told her to stand up straight so I could see the puppy on her PJs. Party and everyone had a lot of fun!
Leichtman: June 2009
http://leichtmankids.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 24, 2009. The slip and slide. Adelyn loves it, Cohen not so much. He does have fun pushing his lawn mower on it but isn't a fan of getting water in his face! The favorite lawn mower! We have had to buy two already. The first one was so worn out the back tires locked up and the wheels had holes in them. That gets added to the list which includes being a mermaid, a fairy, and a horse rider- very ambitious! They were exhausted by the end of the day and slept the whole way home. The receital ...

Christiansen's in NZ
An account of our year spent living in New Zealand. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Thank you so much! Tomorrow, we are getting in the rental car and driving up to Auckland, where we’ll board a plane for LA. And, after almost a year, we will be leaving New Zealand. I have never enjoyed the departure section of airports, but I do love the arrivals section. It’s not really adequate, but I guess it sums up our feelings now…. To Lindy, Russell, the staff and our neighbors at Anchorage Apartments – thanks for ma...
christian Freedoms Gone!
The Removal Of Christianity From Our Government Has Lead Americans Into A Deep Dark Prison! Morality and Christianity go hand in hand. I first tried for the Domain Name Morality Matters, but it was taken. I was amazed how many articles there were on morality, but one of the best articles written was for The John Birch Society by Bill Hahn on 2-06-12. I reccommend people that care about this country read it! Or one of many other comments made by concerned citizens especially Christians!
