Schwarz/Weiß in der Naturfotografie ist eine Herausforderung für mich, da sehr viele Motive in der Natur gerade durch ihre Farbe leben. Aber es gibt Motive, die sich eignen. Motive, in denen eine bestimmte Stimmung oder ein besonderes Charakteristikum herausgestellt werden soll. Mir liegt diese Art der Fotografie inzwischen sehr nahe. Hier einige Beispiele. Wenn die Libellen über das Wasser fliegen, sehen wir, welch großartige Flugkünstler sie sind. Nicht umsonst orientiert sich die Bionic auch an ihren Fähigkeiten. Früh morgens sitzen sie tief im Gras oder Schilf und vertrauen auf ihre Versteck-Künste. Dabei kommt es oft zu scheinbarem Spiel zwischen dem Insekt und dessen Betrachter. Manchmal sind Linien, Verläufe und Farben so präsent, dass man darin versinken könnte. Das macht den Reiz aus, Dinge etwas abstrahiert zu fotografieren. Ich sehe darin eine besondere Würdigung des Gesehenen. Sometimes lines, gradients and colors are so dominant that I could easily fall into their presence.
