Glimpses of our life: July 2009
http://ourfamilyisaworkofheart.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 27, 2009. Family . isn't about being together? It's been now a month since Vai left with the kids to Tahiti. As much as I wanted to go with them to that tropical paradise, it simply did not work out. I realized how much we take for granted the time we spend as a family. The time that will never be given back. So, I learned one major lesson from this experience - don't plan any long-term travels apart. Do things together, it's much more fun. Spend time together, it's priceless. She had a crus...

So Happy Together!: A House a Home
http://hawaiimonkeys.blogspot.com/2011/09/house-home.html
Thursday, September 8, 2011. A House a Home. Since we purchased this home in February, we've made some big purchases that I guess you could say have made it feel like home.kinda. Actually, these purchases didn't tranform the house, they're just the kind of things that we've always said, "someday when we have our own home." kind of things. :) We bought a big trampoline for the kids, a treadmill for Dad, and a piano for Mom. Haha, probably not. Impulsive, and on a first name basis with a local piano moving...

So Happy Together!: June 2011
http://hawaiimonkeys.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Little Izzy Belita Van Tress {those are nicknames} is almost two weeks old now. We don't have her name all totally figured out. She has more than one nickname as you can see, so. it's complicated. In depth of details. Overall-. Am I glad I did a homebirth instead of birth in a hospital? Was I happy with my homebirth experience? Would I homebirth again? Yes, definitely, with some changes of course. A lot of money to dish out) but the two things that worried me were-. Just the girls...

Glimpses of our life: Looking back at Taiamani's 1st year
http://ourfamilyisaworkofheart.blogspot.com/2010/03/looking-back-at-taiamanis-1st-year.html
Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Looking back at Taiamani's 1st year. A lot has happened since the last I blogged but I'll talk about it another time. Today, we're celebrating Taiamani's Birthday and I've been looking at some old pictures of her. The 5 years since we welcomed her went by so fast. I'm always amazed at all the things she's accomplished and her sweet little personality. I love hearing her switch between languages. 2 days before I gave birth. Bikini beach in front of our studio. Before Church (6 mo).

http://ourfamilyisaworkofheart.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Today you are 5 years old and you were so excited when you woke up this morning. You asked us to wish you a Happy Birthday and we sang it to you. You couldn't wait to go to school and tell your teacher and your friends that it's your birthday. You were happy that I prepared some princess cookies and bought some cake and drinks so you can celebrate your special day in class. You'll always be our Princess. Now you can't wait for your party on saturday with your gang of girlfriends.

So Happy Together!: Promotion!
http://hawaiimonkeys.blogspot.com/2011/12/promotion.html
Friday, December 23, 2011. Jeremy made his first promotion in the army! He's now a 1st Leiutenant (the step up from 2nd Leiutenant)! For non-army people, let me explain- this is an automatic promotion, you get it pretty much as long as you stick in the army for a couple years and don't do anything real stupid. lol! And noone can deny what cute kids we have! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This is Your Life! Sport Princess Book Series. The TAB Mama's Blog. Simple template. Powered by Blogger.
