Friday, October 8, 2010. A Contributing Factor in Childhood Obesity. Rewarding children for eating everything on their plates may teach them to rely on external instead of internal cues in deciding whether to eat, and to some children, this leads to eating whenever food is in sight.". L I S A C O R R I N: Borrowing
http://lisacorrin.blogspot.com/2012/01/borrowing.html
January 3, 2012. I'm posting a link to my sister's latest blog post. She perfectly said what I didn't know I needed to say. When I read this entry a chill of recognition made my insides freeze up into a tight icy ball. I felt unprepared to face this year. But then a warm, solid sensation spread and I realized no matter how unprepared I feel, I am still capable of ending 2012 in a better place than it started. Lisa C. Vrazo. 3/12/13, 7:04 PM. L I S A C O R R I N: Exercise
http://lisacorrin.blogspot.com/2011/07/exercise.html
July 25, 2011. Almost a full month later I am revisiting my blog. I blame this time lapse on a wedding I was standing up in. It was a huge responsibility, and left no time for writing. It was worth it. The shower ran steadily, it had good pressure. The hot water came out in tens of little, pointed streams. It sent an even, orderly spray of water from shoulder to shoulder. There was a window on the left with that sort of frosted layer on the pane, for privacy. It felt cheap and old, but helpful. It flew a...

L I S A C O R R I N: Productive Procrastination
http://lisacorrin.blogspot.com/2013/03/productive-procrastination.html
March 12, 2013. This was supposed to be a follow up to my last (long ago) blog post. It was going to be an honest (but not too divulging) account of all 2012 had held for me. I then realized that would be painful and involved (Although cathartic and necessary- I still plan on working on THAT post). Meanwhile, how about I just share some writing exercises I've been working on:. Grew up sheltered. Ended up exposed. Disliked kids, fell hard for two. Believed love was explosive. It’s not.

L I S A C O R R I N: Coming out on the other side.
http://lisacorrin.blogspot.com/2012/08/coming-out-on-other-side.html
August 13, 2012. Coming out on the other side. My life was full of stress. So many things had gone unexpectedly, and then tail-spun into a gruesome collision of good and bad decisions, all equally twisted and maimed at the bottom of some pit of “good intentions.”. Who the hell could make sense of a mess like that? So, I went to a familiar bar that had an alienating vibe. It was somehow a cross between the bar from Cheers and something out of the darkest corner of David Lynch’s imagination. People started...
