Friday, January 30, 2015. First 5k of 2015. For 2015, I have challenged myself to do a 5K/race each month. My sister is such a champ, and she decided to join me. On January 25th, we did our first 5k for the year. Two days before the race, I rolled my ankle. It made for a difficult run, but I did it! Liz kicked butt and finished way before me! I am looking forward to our February race. Fingers crossed my ankle will be in better shape! Emma just started a new season of ballet this month. January 16-18, 2015.

Sunday, September 21, 2014. These girls are so different, and perfect in their own ways! Emma is a fancy one that loves to pose for pictures. She loves her friends and family and is always looking out for others. Elle is silly and independent and always tries to help. She loves to do what sissy does and she is feisty. A visit with Ryan and Megan. Ryan and Megan were in town for the Seahawks vs Chargers last weekend. They had a busy weekend, but we were so happy to meet up with them. We love you so much!

Tuesday, June 30, 2015. We had a family movie night in the backyard. And then a cousin sleepover. Donuts for breakfast for our cousin sleepover. We celebrated Papa's Birthday with brunch at Cocina del Charro. We all have Legoland passes and it is so much fun to meet up there. I went to the Maná concert with Liz. This was our 3rd one together and we had a great time. We went to the fair on the all you can ride wristband day. The kids rode so many rides and we all ate some yummy food. Dads of the NW.

Monday, October 27, 2014. Last Friday was our annual trip to Bates for pumpkins. So much fun with so many loved ones! Elle's preschool took a field trip to the Pinery Pumpkin Patch. Doug was a lucky duck and was a parent helper. Thankfully he took lots of pictures. Surprise. have some pizza! A few weeks back we had a knock at our door. It was the Papa John's Pizza delivery guy. Odd we didn't order any pizza. Pizza guy: "is this 1537? Doug: "Yes, but we didn't order any pizza". Thanks for the pizza Ryan!

Friday, November 21, 2014. More Demo, more framing. After the first round of demo, the layout and our plans for the house changed a bit. as they seem to do ALL.THE.TIME. So, it meant we had to do more demo. I think we demo-ed for probably 3 months (keep in mind we only had the weekends to work).
