Liz in the Mist. Surrounded by the droplets of God's love. Thursday, July 11, 2013. Now, I turn to February. This was a month I continued to deal with some health issues. Here are the highlights from my gratitude journal that month:. Fresh new sheets of paper. Wind reminding me of God’s presence. Drizzles of rain hitting my nose. Reading until the wee hours. Being a part of something bigger than myself. Clients eager to come to my office. Bedding out of the dryer. Dog gazing up at snowflakes. If I slowed...

Liz in the Mist: May 2013
http://lizinthemist.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Liz in the Mist. Surrounded by the droplets of God's love. Wednesday, May 22, 2013. It is the time of year when graduations, weddings and more occur. Yet, what about those who never graduated high school, who are not yet married, who struggle to find a job, who are not parents, who don't get job promotions or special awards? Maybe what culture values is not what really matters in the end. Who is really going to remember their 5th or 8th grade graduation? Liz in the Mist. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Liz in the Mist: 1/19/14 Sermon
http://lizinthemist.blogspot.com/2014/01/11914-sermon.html
Liz in the Mist. Surrounded by the droplets of God's love. Sunday, January 19, 2014. I was thinking the other day about basements. Basements can be places where fun or frolic happens. My Grandpa and Grandma Wine had one of these types of basements. I fondly remember many hours spent playing in the basement with my siblings and cousins. It was a place where we could be ourselves. One day, my brother stepped on a nail while we were down there. Basements can be places of safety, especially here in Kansas.

A Window Into My Little Red School House: A Precious 36
http://red-schoolhouse.blogspot.com/2009/12/precious-36.html
A Window Into My Little Red School House. Home school teacher of 7 missionary kids in Mexico. Monday, December 7, 2009. One struggle for me being here in Mexico is the long nights. Right now, come 5 o'clock, it is pitch dark. What in the world do you do? Any ways, a few nights ago, I made a big mug of tea, lit a candle, popped in Pride and Prejudice into my borrowed laptop and curled up with my fleece blanket on my "day bed." I was in heaven!
