Josephine Rose arrived today. My beautiful granddaughter has finally joined us. 8lbs 5oz / 20 in. long / very healthy. I am so very happy, excited and thankful to God for giving me strength and courage. I’m also very nervous. I don’t have upper arm strength or coordination, but I am working on that. ALABAMBA HERE I COME.

Acceptance, patience, hope. April has been uneventful for me. I have been busy with 6 month testing and doctor appointments. The good news is that my organs are stable. I still have to have a Stress Echo for my heart, but feel it is stable as well. Range of motion exercises are so important when dealing with Scleroderma.

My Reynaud’s is still active with this cold weather. I look forward to the warmer weather. I am happy to report that Cynthia (Scleroderma patient) was discharged from the hospital and able to go back to the rehab facility. She has a lot of work to do and needs to gain some weight and strength. Acceptance, patience, hope.
