In addition to the natural beauty which surrounded my accommodation during the work-related portion of my trip, I had the opportunity to explore the country a little more with some Minnesota friends who currently live there. Montserrat (literally translated “serrated mountain”) is a small mountain range near Barcelona which is perhaps best known for being the home of the Montserrat Monastery and 16th century Basilica. The highlight of my visit was exploring the elaborate trail system that twists and climbs around the mountain, connecting the main village to dozens of small hermitages, chapels, and shrines. Thursday, July 22, 2010. 一大早，为了争取多点时间所以就早点起来，但也不是太早啦，大约七点多起来，梳洗一翻，早餐还没吃就先去国光客运总站，想先买了车票再吃早餐。这总站就在我住的酒店对面（新光三越附近）很方便，只须从地下街走过去就能到达。国光客运总站分为东西两站，出台北市的都在东站。东站是新建好的，蛮大和干净漂亮。 1）搭乘火车从台北火车站到基隆站（须时42到50分钟，约台币43元）之后再从基隆火车站乘搭基隆客运1022[基隆-金山]线到野柳站（约NT$45)下车即可。 2）搭乘国光客运1815直到野柳站下车即可（须时1小时左右，平均约15分钟一辆）. 既然客运比较方便，又无需转车，那我们当然是选择搭客运。而回程也是在下车的地方的对面等候到台北市的客运就可以了，很方便。 野柳与我想象中同，我一直以为野柳是位于郊外海边，需要走很远的路才到，所以应该比较稀疏，想不到原来这里有蛮多居民，而且有许多商店尤其是海鲜餐厅和鱼船呢! 一路走着你都可以看到去野柳地质公园的路标，很方便肯定不会迷路，而且当天也有不少游客像我们一样走进野柳公园。 Thursday, July 15, 2010.
