Saturday, March 12, 2011. When Friends Come to Town. The Eifert family came to visit us for the weekend a few weeks ago and we had a blast. They have a son a few months younger than Evan that is also named Brody. So, all weekend long Brody (ours) called the other one, baby Brody Junior. so funny! We took them to the swamp to look at the Cyprus trees and walk around. It was perfect. We love you guys! Thanks for visiting with us! Awww, just now saw this post! He sat with me at church yesterday and after the Pastor spoke about a passage from Revelation, Brody turned to me and said, "Did you know that, Mommy? That God will wipe every tear away? Friday, April 8, 2011. So i took the boys to the Devine Street Fire Station this week with a group of friends. They LOVED it. The men there were so nice and did an entire hour's worth of entertaining the kids. They went down the pole, dressed in their gear, brought out the truck and let them mess around on it. It was great! Evan made friends with the firemen. He normally is not too fond of strangers, but I'm sure he felt safe knowing that a fireman was holding him. On a side note. They may like those...

Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Joseph Evan Tyler was born Saturday, February 20, at 10:50 am He weighed in at 7 pounds, 5 ounces. He measured 21 inches long. Christine pulled off the whole natural childbirth experience again. She did great! God answered all of our specific prayers about Christine's health. She had no complications this time around. Monday, October 11, 2010. Brody has started a homeschool-preschool group with some friends of mine who also have toddlers his age (and babies Evan's age too). We have been learning letters and doing fun crafts, but once every 5 weeks we've decided to make it field trip day! SO-this go around it was to the pumpkin patch! Evan was just goofin off with his friend, Ward Hudgens. For any readers unaware. this is Lauren Hudgens who invited me into the fun preschool group and her two kiddos Reese and Ward.

Sunday, December 26, 2010. Christmas was wonderful, though John and I did feel a little like a pin ball inside a pin ball machine. We had one family gathering after another.
