Friday, March 18, 2016. I've been struggling with another round of creative block and finally realized it earlier this year. It's funny how it can sneak up on you! You go through daily life and weeks or months go by before you realize that it's been ages since you came to the page (digital or otherwise) to create and play and dream. BAM! How did that happen? Even Crowgirls Get The Blues: Digital Collage & Illustration by Stacy Spangler: March 2015
http://crowgirlstudio.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 13, 2015. Spring is very, very definitely here in the Pacific Northwest. We've had more sunny days in the valley than I can ever remember for February/March. Oh, I do love the sunshine! But at the same time, we're likely to have a rough water year if things don't change soon. The snowpack in the Cascades is being described as "historically low", and that's where our water comes from. I'm torn between celebrating every glorious warm bright day and worrying for August. Hand-stitched journal made with scrap leather from Oregon Leather,. Linen thread, Strathmore drawing paper from Oregon Art Supply. Even Crowgirls Get The Blues: Digital Collage & Illustration by Stacy Spangler: The Show Goes On
http://crowgirlstudio.blogspot.com/2015/09/the-show-goes-on.html
Thursday, September 24, 2015. The Show Goes On. My work is up at the Azure Gallery in Corvallis, Oregon! Come see it through October 10, 2015. The other wall has a more formal arrangement. I added the soft netting drape to help to capture the ethereal nature of my collage work. Sometimes I picture all of it hanging in a mist of clouds and starlight. One of my favorite pieces and a highlight of the show. Another favorite, my love-letter to the new year. The Painter Dreams of Spring. It was such a great ev...

knitlit: my fave five french pharmacy finds
http://knitlit.blogspot.com/2011/05/my-fave-five-french-pharmacy-finds.html
Knit, style and je ne sais quoi since 2004. My fave five french pharmacy finds. A typical french pharmacie around the corner from us on rue st. andre des arts. If you're a product junkie like me, the parisian equivalent of a drugstore is a treasure trove of mysterious and seemingly exotic finds. the most ordinary items- cotton swabs, bandages- somehow seem more glamorous here. thinner. more refined. even earwax syringes- or poire. French for pear- sound downright sexy. Marvis whitening mint toothpaste.
