Life Out Loud: If you just HAVE to unsubscribe...

http://christinesrandomthoughts.blogspot.com/2009/06/if-you-just-have-to-unsubscribe.html

Wednesday, June 03, 2009. If you just HAVE to unsubscribe. I love the Thrillist. I just never have time to read the daily emails and they end up clogging my inbox so this morning I finally decided to unsubscribe and was presented with this wonderful bit of wit that seriously made me think twice about clicking the "See ya" button. In case you can't read the text here's what it says. Here's a couple of related posts on HTML emails:. HTML Email: What NOT to do. Subscribe feeds via e-mail.

Life Out Loud: Goodbye Blogger, Hello WordPress!

http://christinesrandomthoughts.blogspot.com/2009/06/goodbye-blogger-hello-wordpress.html

Tuesday, June 09, 2009. Goodbye Blogger, Hello WordPress! Long overdue, I know, but I finally got mortmort.com. With this, I'll likely no longer update this Blogger site especially since I was able to easily port everything over to WordPress. All I need to do is find the right template, make my tweaks, get some link re-directs going, maybe add in a portfolio section if I ever find the time, and I should be good to go! Ok, so with that.I'm off, back to work! There's lots and lots to do!

Life Out Loud: Drawing Parallels Across Marketing Platforms

http://christinesrandomthoughts.blogspot.com/2009/03/drawing-parallels-across-marketing.html

Monday, March 16, 2009. Drawing Parallels Across Marketing Platforms. While putting together a social media (or engagement plan) for one of our clients I felt that parallels between traditional marketing and "social" marketing became abundantly clear. Curious to see what you guys think. I'll get more context around this soon but I'm pressed for time right now. Tv Video/streaming TV (Hulu). Radio Podcasts/streaming radio (Last.fm/Pandora). Christine's Quilt Closet

Monday, November 23, 2009. This week the Yankee Quilter hosted a class, taught by my friend Pam, to make a 3-D table runner. It was held from 6 pm to midnight, and I had all expectations to finish, even though I was going in with very little prepared - only a few strips had been cut. This pattern was intensive. Once the strips were cut, long tubes were sewed, turned right-side out and ironed. From there, weaving took place to form the 3-D pattern. Monday, November 16, 2009. The bag was large enough for p...

February 11, 2016. DC's Legends of Tomorrow. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Is what you get when superheroes has gone prime time. It is the new original story (for TV) on CW. Christine's Rantings

Saturday, December 01, 2007. Posted by Christine at 10:20 AM. Monday, November 05, 2007. Greetings from South Africa (Again). I am back here for work. I just missed the nasty rain so it is sunny and beautiful (23 today). Luckily, I was able to spend the weekend with Derryth’s parents and they took me to a really nice private game reserve called Tala. We saw tons of animals;. Grey Crane (national bird of SA and apparently quite rare). Rhinoceros (with a baby). His horn was about 3 feet long. The strangest...

Christine's Reads

Friday, January 30, 2009. Recommended for 12 (for an abusive family relationship). 25/5 on the Happiness Meter. Was terrible, it wasn't, it just wasn't that impressive. The impish street thief that steals the jewel from Lucinda is, in my opinion, not a very sympathetic character; he's downright annoying. The twist at the end of the novel involving him is rather a deus ex machina. You find yourself thinking, "Really? Lost in a Good Book. 4/5 on the Happiness Meter. 1) The Knife of Never Letting Go. The Cl...

Christine's Reality Check

Thursday, December 15, 2011. Squashing My Appetite, or, Why Mothers Are Gray. I have a sure-fire way to kick my appetite to the curb. I invite my 26 year old son over to dinner and make his favorite, chicken cutlet parmesan with a side of spaghetti. Then, before he sits down to eat, he makes an announcement that he’s made a decision, one we aren’t going to like, but one that is set in stone nevertheless. My appetite starts to recede immediately. Spill ya guts kid. He is moving in with HER in Las Vegas fo...
