At the top of the world. Friday, 28 December 2007. Homemade Honey from Alstrup. Karoline, Jesper, Dora and Jens-Erik at the card table. And stuffed ourselves with coffee and cakes, smoked cod, chicken soup and backed apples. To help me cure the cold I have Dora and Jens-Erik gave us 4 glasses of their wonderful homemade honey. The best I’ve ever tasted. For sure that’ll get me out on the 10 kilometre route tomorrow. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Master in ICT and Learning.

At the top of the world. Sunday, 3 February 2008. Dinner Mats and Chopped Seal. Sunday breakfast is an occasion to bring out our famous Azorean dinner mats, yes indeed! They are handmade and woven with colourful pieces of leftover cloth and I bought in a private home on São Jorge pretty much in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. They come into great use in Greenland. CSF SLEDGE DOGS: Our 12 Dogs
http://csfsledgedogs.blogspot.com/2008/02/our-12-dogs.html
Saturday, 2 February 2008. Kessler (above) and Ali (below) are brothers and named after boxers, because Jesper loves the sport. We got them from Jesper's brother Jan ( follow Dorthe's blog here. And they have their first season this winter. Especially Kessler is turning into a skilled sledge dog, while Ali is somewhat timid still. This is a girl fight! Nalangi is teaching her daughter Donna a lesson - even though Donna is almost twice as big and heavy as her morther. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

CSF SLEDGE DOGS: Wet Dogs in a Wet World
http://csfsledgedogs.blogspot.com/2007/07/wet-dogs-in-wet-world.html
Thursday, 26 July 2007. Wet Dogs in a Wet World. After 2 full days the rain has let up leaving the air clear and drinkable and the ground wet and muddy. I feel sorry for the dogs and admire them for never losing their spirits. The grey clouds are still clinging to the mountain sides signalling that more rain is yet to come.
