Just exploring life one experience at a time. Sunday, January 22, 2012. May 2011 - Final Day in Lebanon [Ruins in Baalbek]. My last day in Lebanon, I went on a tour with my cousins to Baalbek to see the ruins. We took a bus from Beirut to Baalbek. Baalbek is actually probably only about 20 miles away from Syria. Anyway - the ruins were quite impressive. Here are a few pics. This was the second location of ruins we came to. And I can't say enough about the hospitality of Elias' family! Sara and Dave G.

And then we [the family] were invited to meet Jen and Elias for a late lunch up in the mountains - in Faraya. It was colder up there and also beautiful. Lunch was also amazing. Like all the food that I had in Lebanon. Loved it! After we ate, Elias' family took us to this lookout area and we [I] took a bunch of pictures.

Tuesday, November 16, 2010. We took a trip down to AZ a little while ago to attend Jared's grandma's funeral. No one ever likes to gather for a funeral, but it was great to be with family (some of which, Jared hadn't seen in 15 years! Here's a pic of the cousins! Jared's mom, her husband, Jared's aunt, cousin and sister. Aunt Darce LOVED seeing the kids! And they were in heaven playing with her too! Kaylee took a good nap that day! Saturday, August 6, 2011. A very , very Half Birthday to you! Pierce is 6 months old! Holy cow a half a year old. How did this happen? He is so great! He's been more interactive and makes noises ALL THE TIME! He loves to try and talk. He even laughs! He's loving eating foods and hasn't eaten anything yet that he didn't like. Can you believe the look he gave me? He is definitely getting bigger! Love the hands in the pockets! He cuddles with is bear every night when he goes to bed. Our early morning nap.

This is what we're up to. Saturday, July 28, 2012. XO pancakes and fruit. I have had these molds since we got married and finally got around to using them. Chicken with Creamy Dijon sauce and Roasted Asparagus. Chocolate Lava Heart because Casey just melts my heart :). The flowers that Casey got me. I love peachy colors. The aftermath. Dishes are definitely a con to cooking. I gave myself a break though and did them in the morning. I LOVE the backsplash in your kitchen! Good to have you back!

The next morning we woke up at 5:00am so Uncle Chuck could take us out on his boat out on Strawberry. It was so much fun being out there and catching some fish.
