It was pretty scary and there's soooo many ways that it could have ended differently, but, PRAISE GOD, we're both ok. So in the end we found out that the driver was heading east on the road, actually rear-ended a semi (one of those semi's that doesn't have the box part on the back, it was just the cab part). Tuesday, February 26, 2008. Bearing all of that in mind, I gave my students a Bible quiz. One of the things we had discussed was how rules have a purpose (and a benefit). For an extra credit question, I asked them to give examples of rules (at home or at school) that have a benefit. Here are some of their thoughts (plus some side commentary from me):. Don't stick your fingers in a toaster oven. Why? So you don't get burned.". Don't run with scissors. Why? So you don't get hurt.". So I don't hurt it.".

Hi all.I just thought this would be an appropriate time to list some things that my students are thankful for.some of them are good for laughs, some of them are just well-put! Saturday, October 17, 2009. The most interesting news from up north is that it's already SNOWED this year! It snowed all day on Monday, October 12th. It melted on impact until the evening, when it just made a slushy coating on the ground. It was enough for me to have to clean off the car in the morning, though! That's my big news. Hmm.
