These oil, acrylic and mixed media paintings are on sculptural wood panels. Shapes of the panels are concave, convex, tapered, or combinations of the above. The sculptural panels are constructed of Aspen, White Pine, and Baltic Birch utilizing a hand-crafted, ribbed support system. The painting is continued to all surfaces resulting in a fluid composition viewable from all angles. Call or Email for pricing and availability.

In a wandering dream filled with ethereal creatures, I came to realize that in our quest for perfection, a higher state of consciousness existed where some aspects of our physical bodies became superfluous. This is my interpretation of those beings. These sculptures begin with a steel and aluminum armature. The form is sculpted using polymer. After a heat-curing process the figure is covered with copper leaf and painted with oils and acrylics. Sizes are up to 33 inches in height.

Charlevoix and Jean Petit Baton. Lin has been a full time artist for over thirty years. A multi-faceted background in painting, sculpture, weaving, textile design, clay, and woodworking provides her a wide range of knowledge and experiences from which to draw. She is the recipient of over one hundred awards and honors .

Elements of my original paintings, drawings, and photographs are isolated and combined to form new compositions and embellished with additional surface manipulation, painting, and drawing. No textures or surfaces are overlooked as useful components in the assembly of the collage, including fabrics and street debris. In the fine art printing process, each image is printed by the artist using archival papers and pigmented inks.

Chris left this earth on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 8th, following a sudden and fatal heart attack.
