The annual subsidy is £400,000 per year and I was informed the other day that when the theatre was re-built over 25 years ago, the Council then offered subsidy up to £1m per year so. That it has decreased but by how much more will it decline? Surely a thorough “deep clean” of the foyer is the answer now, not refurbishment? Have those been included? Is there a business plan?
