He will have to be to face his next mission.to be a birthday gift for a feisty one year old. My niece Lily is turning one this weekend so knitted Fred as a gift for her royal cuteness. I think that he will be up for the challenge! Thursday, April 24, 2008. I love Carbondale in the springtime! Overall it was a great trip!

Musings on Knitting and our Chicago Bungalow: July 2009
http://gingerknitter.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Musings on Knitting and our Chicago Bungalow. Monday, July 20, 2009. This past spring I discovered the brilliant textile artist Chris Roberts-Antieau. I love the way that she combines traditional textile methods such as quilting and needlepoint with humor and bold designs. It is both a nod to folk art and a sophisticated use of color and texture. I will be visiting her booth at the American Craft Exposition in Evanston on August 28th-30th! Http:/ www.chrisroberts-antieau.com/000 home.html.

Musings on Knitting and our Chicago Bungalow. Saturday, February 27, 2010. Better Late Than Never and Let Sleeping Cats Lie. I have been working on a very late baby blanket for Scott's cousin's new baby. I was hoping to have it done by the time he was born, however, due to a combination of my own procrastination and the baby coming early it will be a late gift! She looks so innocent when she is sleeping doesn't she? Who would think that in her spare time she does this? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Musings on Knitting and our Chicago Bungalow: May 2008
http://gingerknitter.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Musings on Knitting and our Chicago Bungalow. Wednesday, May 21, 2008. My hubby and I have been away the last few days in Las. Vegas for his niece's wedding. We rented a house with several family members instead of staying in a hotel. I was a little worried about how it would. Work out, but over all we had a great time and saved a lot of money. It was nice that we didn't have to get dressed for breakfast and we had a private pool. I wish I had pictures but my camera wasn't working! Thursday, May 1, 2008.

http://gingerknitter.blogspot.com/2010/03/spring-has-arrived.html
Musings on Knitting and our Chicago Bungalow. Sunday, March 21, 2010. In the midst of all this it seems that spring has arrived! I am excited to see what all of the green sprouts will turn into. I have already found some crocuses and am hoping that there will be some tulips thrown into the mix. It is a little like waiting for Christmas! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Musings on Knitting and our Chicago Bungalow. Thursday, May 21, 2009. The mystery of double knitting and why I am a visual learner…. After scrapping my original idea and yarn for a baby blanket, I picked a pattern that looked simple yet elegant and seemed to require no seaming. I should have known that it was too good to be true! I spent about 2 hours trying to figure it out from books and the internet to no avail. I guess that I will just have to get someone to show me! Tuesday, May 19, 2009.
