The Worky's and the Girly's. Tuesday, December 23, 2008. First day of school. Luckily, the damage to my car was almost non-existent, and only thing I did to the garage door is that I knocked one of the wheel out of the track, which was easily fixed by handy daddy Ryan. All in all, it was a memorable day with Daddy, sister Emily and mommy escorting our daughter to her first day of school. I think she will do excellent in her school. if she is anything like her mama. Ok, daddy too. LOL! Me and my babie.

One year he stood near Santa, then backed away slowly. But there would be no sitting or talking. That all changed this year. Thursday, May 31, 2012. We went to Lake Tahoe for my birthday/our anniversary trip this year. We stayed in Reno the first night. Then it was on to Lake Tahoe. Emerald Bay was one of the highlights. Vikingsholm-A home that was built in 1929 by a woman from Europe. It was built on Emerald Bay and was her summer home. Front door-seemed rather short. The courtyard where all the servants quarters were. The back of the house faced the lake. The view of the bay from the back of the house. Our motel-The Alder inn.

Friday, September 14, 2012. We tried again to hike to Lake Mary a couple of days after Labor Day. This time there were very few people, the weather was perfect and we had the lake to ourselves when we got there. Definitely worth the wait. Hiked above Brighton ski resort on Labor Day trying to get to Lake Mary but it was very crowded. So we got this picture and decided to turn around and try again another day.
