Poems, Musings, and the Banter of Everyday Life. What I choose is my Voice. Honduras in 150 words. Dedicated to all those who ran screaming in the night, reclaiming a stolen soccer field. Orange. Blue. Green. A very strong Chicken. A couple belly busters. A couple of trips to the bathroom, and a couple trips more. God with no nationality. Love that has no borders. Screaming at distractions held in large black plastic. A mad dash on newly sacred ground. Trading a knife’s control for the Love on a cross.

January 6, 2009 · Filed under Family. Let me back up a little a tell you about our Christmas and New Years! I’ll give you the short version. Christmas Eve’s Eve I made dinner for us and Chris and Mandi. Then we went out to find Christmas lights, which we try to do every year. This year we went to Silverhill, Robertsdale, and Loxley and we did find some pretty lights. Christmas day was busy but SO much fun! We enjoyed lunch with Tommy’s family and opened presents. Watching everyone. And Bella and Nina!
