M pretty sure what we are looking at here is a 1968 Buick Electra 225 sedan. The sculpted body lines trashed as they are and missing their trim look about right. One can only guess about the roof. This shot interested me because I actually owned one of these land yachts back in the late seventies. It was a high-milage 65 Electra 225. The guy wanted $250 and I needed a car. GM, BUICK, 1965 BUICK ELECTRA 225. HIGH DESERT DEUCE AND A QUARTER.

About a block from my office. It had temporary plates so recently put back on the road. The last inspection sticker read 1971. By far one of my favorite years for styling. a little less over the top with the fins then the 59 and 60 models. Love the expansive sweep of the rear quarter panels.
