In Case of Emergency. Sunday, March 11, 2018. 12 Ways #BlogPaws Nurtures Its Newbies (Unlike Any Other Similar Conference). BlogPaws 2017 Baby Shower Crasher. My first BlogPaws conference. OK, that's not entirely accurate. I decided I'd rather eat alone than cold-call a table of strangers, but I'd totally sit with people I'd never met in person, if. I could find one familiar online friend to introduce me. Good thing I'd exchanged cell phone info with exactly one online friend before leaving home. Local t...

You can't get enough of me, can you? Saturday, August 15, 2009. Can I just tell you how much I despise the word "maybe"? I mean it has got to be the single, most passive-aggressive word in the English language! I don't know why it gets me so riled up, but I HATE IT. I know my posts get a bit too long sometimes. I swear it has to do with the fact that I spend soo much time alone, and I'm not used to that. But the amazing thing about a blog is that I don't care if you're not listening. HA! But probably one...

Chronicles of Carmel
Thursday, March 23, 2006. Down on bended knees. Just seem to jump on her suitors lips. Being a choosy girl, she always refused, convinced one day that one man will be able to look past her appearance and actually love her for who she is. The end of the story? They live happily ever after of course (for about a day, and then they die). Posted by Carmel at 1:15 AM. Sunday, March 19, 2006. To dream an impossible dream. Still, Cam, in a sort of sleepy stupor, searches for that elusive reason. Why? More gentl...

Sunday, October 19, 2014. I just finished Annie Downs' incredible book, Let's All Be Brave: Living Life with Everything You Have. Annie also describes personal struggles she currently experiences and being brave in the midst of those. Life doesn't suddenly become rainbows and sunshine once you take the step of faith. It can continue to be difficult in the midst of bravery, but God is with you each step. And plunges, but the Sovereign Creator of the Universe will never let us go. Amen. Have you ever found...

I enjoy writing; putting thoughts/ideas on paper fills me with immense joy. I write about life, work, and all kinds of nonsense in between. I should have a general theme for this blog, but then that would make sense .and as you'll soon realize, sense and I have a strange and sometimes distant relationship. Thursday, January 18, 2018. See This Is Why. I glance at Twitter and see Aziz Ansari's name come up- first reaction: OH NO! After sitting with this and even after initially reading the woman's story, I...
