Are you who you want to be? Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Have you ever gone against the grain? Did things that you knew were wrong but did it anyway? Felt like a failure and a disappointment? I have done and felt all of this! But i am finding that through all of my disappointments and failures god is still there and has grace and mercy like no other could ever have. i will admit i have messed up and don't deserve this kind of love but god doesn't look at it that way and i am so glad!

In my previous posting i said i wanted to be done with all of my projects by oct.15th.i was not thinking. clearly. although i have made great progress i still have not painted the kids bathroom; however, with the help of my husband i have completed painting the kitchen, alas! It looks great and very funky! My mom n law and i went fabric shopping this afternoon and i got some great fabric that. And i have been super duper busy!

Saturday, March 28, 2009. I have not posted anything in awhile so I thought I would give a quick update. Brodie had his 1st hearing test since the surgery and he had amazing results! Before the surgery he was at 35db's which is a moderate loss, and now he is at 10db's which is excellent hearing in both ears! Julia lost her first back tooth this week! The tooth fairy brought her five dollars! I think I got a quarter when I was a kid! Work has been crazy for me! I am very excited about that!

Sunday, July 8, 2012. Maple Mustard Pork Chops. Prep Time: 5 min Cook Time 7-10 min. Perfect Partner: Rice Pilaf, Sweet Potatoes, or Baked Potatoes. 4-5 bone-in pork chops. 3 T maple syrup. 3 T Dijon mustard. 2 t olive oil. 1 clove minced garlic. Preheat grill (or cast-iron skillet) to medium-high. In a small bowl, stir together syrup, mustard, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Separate 1/4 c. of sauce to baste chops after cooked. With remaining sauce, baste the pork chops on both sides. 1 c sour cream.
