Monday, June 7, 2010. I have always been an avid journal writer, but the last several years, I have gone from writing once a week, to once a month, to every other month! Then he proceeds to do a mock female crying episode! Gotta love my Chuck! Motherhood is a bit like giving birth I think. It is so painful, difficult, exhausting, and it's just plain a ton of work, but in the end, you forget the pain and the struggle, because in your arms is a miracle straight from God. My children are. A miracle, they are.

Monday, January 18, 2010. As soon as the turkey was put away on Thanksgiving, we quickly made plans to cut down our family's Christmas tree. There is nothing like the smell of a fresh cut tree to get you in the spirit of the season, and our kids love this tradition almost as much as they love Christmas it's self! Last year we did a coin toss, and the kids won and chose a big round tree that took up half of my living room. I wanted a tall narrow tree, and this year I got my wish! Sunday, January 10, 2010.

I don't know if I have ever had a child so excited for their birthday! She danced while her primary sang Happy Birthday and skipped to the Bishop's office for her treat! Oh my gosh, she was soooo cute on Sunday with her super excitement! Her bike is adorable too, we'll have to take the girls on a bike ride while we walk and chat:).

Monday, August 8, 2011. Now this looks big and cool, but the slides are so steep that Lillian has gotten hurt each time she comes down them. Usually getting at least a skin burn, she has stopped playing on this now. They do have fun on these swings, but they aren't the kind a kid can really pump on, so they require someone else pushing. And there are only 3 swings so you end up waiting a lot for a turn. This is a cool little thing to climb across. Lillian at the top of a different climbing structure.
