We went with the Hawleys and the Christensens. Ivy tagging along during summer swimming lessons. Mason, one of Elle's best friends. Trip home to Utah!

Sunday, September 06, 2009. End of Summer 2009. ELLE AND SEB AT HOME AND AROUND TOWN. Elle said this was their boat and she was the librarian reading Seb a story. Tomatoes from our garden. Elle and Seb shared a room until we moved into our new house and had more rooms. We gave them each a room of their own but then found they just wanted to be together. We put their beds together in the same room and now find them most nights having fallen asleep holding hands. Termpera paints gone too far. Fun for Elle ...

Sunday, January 29, 2012. Eleanor was in the Nutcracker with the Russian Ballet Company of Maryland and the Suzanne Farrell Kennedy Center Ballet Company. Gabe danced in it, too as a party scene extra (thanks Gabe, for letting me sign you up for that! Eleanor was so beautiful in her little angel and mouse costume. I cried watching her dance - she was so happy. Eleanor in her wings, waiting for her turn to go on stage during a rehearsal. Precious. Getting ready before the performance. Recital, January 2012.

Sunday, October 18, 2009. Greenbelt Labor Day Parade. Famous local jump roping team. Our favorite entry in the parade. It's illegal to hang dry clothes at a residence in some cities in MD. This group is taking matters into their own hands. Some carnival fun afterward. Packed and ready for Elle's first violin lesson. Stairs around and down to the studio. Elle's group class teacher, David Strom. He's a genius with the little guys. I went to school with his wife, Mariam. Notice Seb, so excited for his sister.

Tuesday, August 03, 2010. Ivy was born July 23rd. As our great friend, Heidi H. put it, we've moved from man-to-man to zone defense with 3 kids. We've had a great first week with Ivy, especially watching Elle and Seb gushing over their new little sister. Last swimming lesson at the Bowlers the night before Amber's c-section. Had a great time sitting around talking with old and new friends during swimming lessons. 6:00 am Montgomery General Hospital, Olney MD. Ivy, born at 8:25. Meeting mom. 6 lbs 10 oz.

Sunday, October 02, 2011. Spring and Summer 2011. We love Sebby's eyelashes. Ivy loves baths in the sink. We went to the beach one day and the next day, it snowed (yes, I'm posting pictures from last. A great afternoon (for me). Ivy was asleep and Elle and Seb read for almost two hours on the blanket in front of the window in the sun. Ivy was trying to crawl and gave up. Writing in their journals during conference. Gabe walked in the door from work and Ivy fell asleep on him. Baseball at Hawthorn Park.
