Transferring FireFox Bookmarks: mozilla
http://mozilla.livejournal.com/445749.html
Theres no place like 127.0.0.1 (. Theres no place like 127.0.0.1. I want to retrieve my old bookmarks and place them on my new PC. Problem is, I can't just log into the old PC. I have to log in via a separate hard drive then access my old files that way. Meaning that the most logical method would be to just locate the file with all my bookmarks and copy and paste it to my new bookmarks file on the new PC. Does that make sense? Post a new comment. This is annoying - Fedora Linux
http://fedora-linux.livejournal.com/82847.html
Jun 26th, 2010 @ 10:06 am. I run Fedora, latest release, on a Dell Latitude C840. When the fan activates, the machine suddenly throttles to a crawl - so badly that the three finger salute takes two minutes! I've checked top and nothing is eating cycles. I suspect there's something in the kernel I need to tweak, because a warm reboot usually fixes the problem. Any thoughts on what I should set/do? I'm tired of having a Linux lappy behave like I'm running that other OS. June 26th, 2010 11:15 pm (UTC).
