Where to find us. An Introduction to the Church of the Resurrection. We welcome young families. We have a play area within the church for small children under the supervision of their parents, for use during services. Finally, we are unusual in the people we are in the Church of the Resurrection. We come from many different backgrounds and different Church traditions and we seek to be accepting of everyone. On 2nd and 4th Sundays only. The Church of England has a precious heritage of choral music that can add a dimension of heart-stopping beauty to worship. That heritage is alive and well at St Peter’s. The 11.30 services are devoted to ‘cathedral- style’ worship, and the choirs’ repertoire spans seven centuries of music that is by turns joyful and poignant, but always beautiful. This service takes place either in church or in our ancient Norman chapel, which has seen a thousand years of worship.

This late evening service is a sanctuary, a safe place to encounter God, On the first Sunday of the month we gather in the Norman Chapel and on the third Sunday at the vicarage.
