Friday, 6 February 2009. This week the orchestra and choir have been practicing extremely hard, to practice and learn there word's for their festivals.Also we have received many new people mainly to year fours and year sixes, who have settled in well. Lately it has been wet and snowy but Churchfields have enjoyed there two days off school.When they came back the snow was still there waiting for the children to play and make patterns, snow angels and snowmen. Friday, 3 April 2009. In science week these are some of the many things we have done:. Science day –we had an entire day of swapping teacher and having a different science activities. We had an amazing time in the morning (thanks to Miss DeNapoli) on our healthy eating breakfast day as healthy living is part of science. Friday, 3 April 2009. This week in C hurchfields. It has been science week,it has been very busy and exciting. This week on Tuesday 31st of March it was science rotation day, there were no normal classes which means no work. Every teacher taught a different lesson for each class. Goo and putting a stick through a balloon. It (some people did it! And to find the difference. Types of coke,1 was diet and 1 was regular coke. I enjoyed getting my hands green and gooey. Standard, recycled,T esco. V2 it was fun!

Eco Committee
Friday, 28 November 2008. We are the Eco Committee and what we do is make churchfields a greener school. We have a green pledge and it is:. Re for the enviroment by walking to school. Lways use both sides of paper in class. Euse yoghurt pots and cereal packets in D.T projects. Veryone should use the recycling bins and turn off lights in their classroom. Friday, 13 March 2009. The History club went on a trip to the Wallace Collection where they learned about the Black Death and tried some real Tudor armour on! Friday, 14 November 2008. On Monday, the history club and history reps went on the memory bus. it was made in 1962 and it has got things from the world war 2 in it.At the bottom, we saw what a house was like in world war 2 by going in a fake one. Friday, 13 March 2009. At Churchfields we all celebrated World Book Day. Every class wrote a class story - you can see some of them on the class blogs. We had a book fair, and enjoyed the book islands. We listened to a wonderful storyteller who sang songs and entertained us. Finally on Friday we all dressed up as our favourite book characters.
