Volunteers of America had their annual Volunteer Appreciation Lunch, providing recognition and award to volunteers who represent the characteristics of volunteerism of those for whom the awards were named. Two volunteers from our church received such awards. Evelyn Adams–Ellen Brown Spirit of Volunteerism. Award, for all the volunteer time, energy and love she provides to Lighthouse children at the Highland Center. Thanks for being the presence of Christ in our neighborhood!
