Tuesday, August 12, 2008. By land and by river II. At Adel's, on a creek off of the Pomeroon River, where we were the only 2 guests staying at this odd little place. Long story. Highlight: we had 2 tarantulas living with us in our bedroom. Yes, and they were huge and creepy! Have I mentioned that this is a country with pirates.
