2015 - Here we go! Thursday, January 29, 2015. Posted by Dana J. Was my last post seriously 1.5 years ago? Suddenly I have been inspired… Maybe it's looking at my last post and not quite recognizing those little kid's sweet faces…. Knowing that I now have a 7 1/2 year old. My sweet girl is in first grade. Height: 4 feet 2 inches - 84th percentile. Weight: 47.6 lb - 38th percentile. Has 6 permanent adult teeth. Favorite color: (still) blue. Favorite food: (still) Fesenjaan. Favorite animal: Polar Bear.

Thursday, September 2, 2010. Pony Tails and Dresses. Thrilled doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about Katie's newfound love of all things girlie. As you can see she has started wearing barretts, although there's never a guarantee the clip will make it out of the house still attached to her head. It's getting easier though which I'm thankful for. I very optimistically purchased three different colors recently. And like the perfect big brother, Peter is sure to tell her each day how pretty she looks.

Friday, July 30, 2010. Somehow I thought this was going to be an easier transition. Katie was climbing out of her crib nightly, there was no keeping her in it. Obviously it was time for a bed, right? Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Posted by Dana J. We had such a nice Sunday! After Church, we got ready and drove up to Downstate New York. It's funny, we always assumed everything north of Manhattan and west of Long Island was "Upstate". After a little research, turns out there's different regions. The part of NY State above us is "Downstate". We learn something new everyday! So, we went up to Warwick, NY to do a little strawberry picking. However! The cherries looked so beautiful through the bits of sunlight.
