Wishing I was in Maui, but dealing with being here. Archive for December, 2011. This sums it up! It was a cold…………. Sunday, even though it was sunny. Just the kind of day to stay in and knit. DH and I don’t do much to decorate for Christmas in our house so I didn’t have to spend time doing that. We do put up lights in the front window and I have two things that I put out every year, a small pine cone tree and a Father Christmas. The pattern for the mitts is Barista Mitts. Hoping you all have a great week.

April 3, 2009. 2 Chicken Breasts, skinless and boneless. 1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes. 2 cloves garlic, diced. 1/2 c wine, any type. 1 c frozen string beans. 1 envelope instant mashed potatoes. 1/2 tsp. paprika. 1/4 tsp. cinnamon. 1 tsp brown sugar. Hey Claire – What’s Cookin’? Adventures with my wooden spoon. April 3, 2009. 1 c walnut paste. I call these “breadettos” because it’s a kind of Italian word that I made up that I want to mean: “Little Bread”! Make the basic dough which you can find on this site under any pizza recipe. For the walnut paste, I merely put 1 cup of walnuts in my mini-processor until it formed a paste. Bake in a hot oven at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
