June 3, was the feast of Corpus Christi. Not the one in Texas. But the one in the Tabernacle. On this day, there was supposed to be an outdoor Mass at St John Latteran. Followed by an Eucharistic procession to St Mary Major. Which is just down the street. Unfortunately, about an hour before Mass was scheduled to begin it started raining very hard, so Mass was moved inside the Basilica. Then those half season tickets were split between Ben and two other guys. They did this in hopes that the Rangers go to the playoffs again and will have access to purchase their seats at face value. Jack opened many presents but seemed interested in sitting on his new found "car" (chair). Grandpa and Sissy's big gift was a manly kitchen. Jack's teachers had been saying how much he loved the home center so we thought it would be perfect for him. I'll post a picture below to show him playing with his new kitchen. Jack and I went on a walk with Mimi this afternoon while Ben watched the Aggies play in the March Madness tournament. I can't believe how warm it was.Jack enjoyed his stroll, sipping on his juice/water mix and snacking on his puffs and cheerios. After our walk we tried out the new playground at Veteran's Park. Jack loved the swing. At first, he looked like he was going to fall asleep.
