I’ve been working with Romani migrants since 2010 and from the start my approach has been collaborative, spending huge amounts of time getting to know participants and experimenting with different techniques to bring their voices and experiences to the fore. They were clearly delighted and very VERY proud of their children. The teachers loved the way they tell a complicated story so eloquently. Sunday, 16 June 2013. Work in Progress . Quite a few murals on buildings may be found in London, particularly in the Shoreditch area. Here is one I found recently as a work in progress . Went back to the site a few days later (on this occasion, with rather different lighting conditions, bright sunshine and shadows! And found the work is finished, at least for now. Saturday, 3 April 2010. I've put the photos which made up my (successful) panel submission for Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society on to my web site. Here is a link to that site -. I've also included my Statement of Intent which was required for the submission. The submission was in Visual Art and comprised 15 prints matted in 50cm by 40cm antique white mounts, presented in 3 rows of 5 pictures. The photos were printed on Somerset Satin paper. Cairns Street in Bloom. I live in the Toxteth. District of Liverpool, UK. Cairns Street is my street, and it is together with 3 other streets subject of a grand government scheme of so called renewal. If the plans go ahead me and my neighbours will loose their homes, they would be taken from us, some would be demolished, others remodelled. Then they would be sold for prices we could not afford.
